I plan many highly engaging and highly rigorous units through a school year. I tend to plan room transformations when teaching a subject that is less engaging but it allows me to up the rigor and relevance. I have transformed my room into a fear factor set for increasing the rigor of properties of objects, transformed my room into candy land for teaching inferencing skills and have even had my room blacked out for glow games to review units and skills.
